There are numerous ways to reach Deer Lake, NL. These include airplane or car and ferry.

There is an airport in Deer Lake therefore flying here is very convenient. Air Canada flights come in and out of Deer Lake on a regular basis. You can use the online service for bookings at
www.aircanada.com or by simply calling Air Canada. By using this route you may experience a few small stopovers in such airports as Montreal, Toronto or Halifax where you may have to catch a connecting flight. Upon arrival at the Deer Lake airport you will be met by Roberts' Outfitting owners Otto and Annie Roberts. From there your week of adventure and hunting begins.

If you should decide to travel by car and ferry this is longer than flying but is again very convenient. Depending on where you cross the border there are many directions you could take. By following the Trans Canada Highway all of these directions eventually bring you to North Sydney, Nova Scotia. From there you will have to board on a Ferry crossing to Port Aux Basques, NL. To make reservations for the Ferry you can simply call 1-800-341-7981 or go online to
www.marine-atlantic.ca. Upon arrival to Port aux Basques you can follow the Trans Canada Highway route 1 three hours to Deer Lake, NL where arrangements will be made for Roberts' Outfitting owners Otto and Annie Roberts to meet you at the Deer Lake Motel which is directly on your route (Trans Canada Highway route1). From there your hunting adventure begins.
